Open your door handle and then push the lock bezel forward and out and then just pull out your lock.

Yes that is right the door handle is a clip on part so after 2 or 3 years or less of use it becomes loose enough to fall off. The dealership is disappointing to deal with 350 it seems something popped off and they re wanting to replace the entire kit this is my 4th and last nissan the last one. Sometimes the handle itself is fine but there is a problem with the door latch assembly that prevents the door from shutting and locking properly. Just the ball wire comes off the groove.

Once you slide the door handle back the front end will come out and then you can pull it back and up. Due to frequent use they will eventually break down and could need repair. It won t stay on any more so new parts are not the answer. One on the inside and another on the outside.

The problem is that the door handle just clips into place.
