Posted on jul 19 2012. Since the drivers door works properly i would suspect you have door lock actuator issues which is part of the front and rear door lock latch assembly. Then when i pressed the button in the car to open it would not. The liftgate on the nissan murano is normally unlocked by pushing the unlock button twice on either your keyless remote or your driver side door panel switch.

I have tried using the key fob and the button inside the car to open and close the hatch but nothing happens. The rear hatch is just a actuator. Posted on jul 19 2012. Replaced the rear door fuse to no avail.

Now unable to open the door with any of the buttons on the key or in the car. You may want to toggle that switch a couple times just to be sure the switch doesn t have a bad connection. Hi i have a 2009 murano and the rear hatch won t lock. If that doesn t work my guess would be you have a blown rear liftgate fuse or a faulty rear door actuator or both.
