The solenoid is bad. Nissan can said what ever they want but my 2017 nissan rogue with only 30 000 miles the driver side door lock is not working all the other doors are okay. The remote opens the rear doors only then you have to climb in and reach the inside front latch to open the door. Replacing it may require removing the car door panel.

I always have to push down the lock to lock the door. Both drivers door and front passenger door locks not working. Then get out the vehicle and enter thru the front door. To lock the car all doors operate with key fob or manually pressing the lock button on the driver side panel but the driver door does not respond.

I have to manually use the key to unlock the driver door. Again if one door doesn t work but others do the problem could be with the door lock solenoid. Nissan had or has recall on the 2008 rouge for the same problem.
